Michael Wagner

Michael MB Wagner of St. Joseph, passed away June 14, 2017. Mike was born December 14, 1963 in Coldwater, MI to Eugene M. & Sally JoAnne Wagner. He grew up with his older sister Andrea in Litchfield, MI where he was a 3 sport athlete.  He worked alongside his dad during the summers at Wolfinger Hardware.   Mike received his undergraduate and Master’s degrees at Western Michigan University. He spent his entire adult life as a teacher and administrator for St. Joseph Public Schools.  This year marked his 30th year in education. On December 31, 1992, Mike and Tracy (Warner) were married in a small country church in Albion, MI. Their greatest blessings are their three children, Sydney, Simon and Sophie.  They were his whole world and his source of pride and joy. Mike was a man who loved his family, and touched the lives of thousands of children and their families. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 8 P.M. until 10:00 PM, with a sunset service at 9:30 PM at Shadowland Pavilion. Per the family’s request no suits or ties are permitted and they ask you please bring your own beach chair. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in care of Tracy Wagner, for the Wagner children’s education fund.
