John F Yates

John F. Yates, 67, of Dowagiac, MI passed away on November 13, 2010 in Schererville, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents Francis and Mary Yates and his wife Marianne Yates. He is survived by his sister Joanne Ryba of Hobart, IN; nieces Beth Brand of Hobart, IN and Lori Stark of Indianapolis, IN; nephew Bryan Ryba of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and several cousins, grand nieces and nephews. John had retired after a lifetime of employment with the Illinois Central Railroad in Chicago, IL. He also served in the Army Reserves as an SP/5. He enjoyed travel, and spending time with friends and family, and will be missed. Visitation will be held at the Yazel-Clark Funeral home in Dowagiac, MI on Friday November 19th from 12-2pm (Michigan Time) with services to follow.
