Robin Paulette Kent

Robin's life began on November 15, 1955 in Maysville, Kentucky. She was given the gift of life by her biological mother Garnet Berniece Sexton. She was adopted at birth by her loving parents Mildred and Ross Anders. Robin was united in marriage to Ronald J. Kent on June 26,1990 in Cassopolis, MI.. She retired from the United States Postal Services. Robin became an advocate for the needy and she fought for medical benefits, social security disability, veterans benefits, for anyone in need. Robin always opened her heart and her home to anyone in need. Her greatest wish was that if one person helped just one person, the world would be a perfect place. Her loving family include her husband Ronald J. Kent, daughter Andrea Boyce (Daniel) Kingman II., her father Ross (Katherine) Anders, step daughter Holly Kent, her brothers Darrell (Trudy) Mackey, Bill Roberts, sisters Doris Holton and Jerrie Kay West. Robin passed away on January 26, 2010 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. She is preceded in death by her mother Mildred Hibbard, her step-father Edward “Bill” Hibbard, and her brother Clinton Sexton. In keeping with Robin's wishes her family will gather with friends on Thursday, February 4, 2010 from 1-6 p.m. at Dowagiac Lions Club House, 28606 Blue Bird Lane. Yazel & Clark Chapel is serving her family.
