Vicky's Obituary
Vicky Lynn Forrest, 65, of Covert, Michigan passed away January 14, 2021, peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 15, 1955 to Richard and Ann (Grambau) Welsh in Cheboygan, Michigan. Vicky graduated from Bangor High School with the class of 1973. She married Norman Forrest on May 7, 1976 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and they shared 44 years of marriage.
Vicky enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, trips to Walmart, watching her favorite t.v. shows, sunsets at the beach with her husband and time spent with family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in South Haven.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Laura Whitehead, brother Chris Welsh, father Richard Welsh, and her mother, Ann Mallette.
Vicky is survived by her husband – Norman Forrest; children – Norman E. (Orenda) Forrest, Jr. of Spanish Fort, Alabama, Jason Forrest of South Haven, Michigan, and Amy (Josh) Martinez of Covert, Michigan; grandchildren – Nicholas, Kelsi, Hunter, Jason Jr., Madison, and Ana; great grandchildren – Bryson and Brody; and siblings – Joe-Ann Fyke, Joelene Parker, Joe and Jason Mallette, Shari Garrett, and Richard, Eddie, Bill and Sheridan Franklin.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
