Anne Marie Brow, 59, of Bridgman Michigan passed away on December 9, 2023, after a brief illness.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 21, at 6 PM at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Reverand Marcie O’Connell officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 4:30 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan. Anne was born in 1964 to the late Carol and Jim Brow. She graduated high school in her hometown of St. Joseph, Michigan in 1982. Anne enjoyed high school sports and social activities. She continued her education by attending Lake Michigan College.
Anne was a long-time partner to surviving significant-other, Candace Sommers. She was also the mother to David (Gracie). Also surviving are stepfather, Wilbur Steinke; sister, Jackie (Andy) Schrubba; daughters, Heidie and Robin Sommers; grandchildren, Taj, Athena, Ari, Astra and Aubree; great-grandchild, Amelia; nephew, Tony; and nieces, Lisa, Erin, and Ali. Anne was preceded in death by her loving mother, Carol; dad, Jim; and brother, David.
We will miss our beloved partner, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. We must remember - There are special people in our lives who never leave us, even after they are gone. We do not remember days, we remember moments. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened. The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart. The family thanks you.
