Theresa's Obituary
Theresa Ann Gregory, age 79, of Bangor, Michigan, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Theresa was born on December 15, 1944, in Watervliet, MI to the late Harry and Adella (Isbrecht) Spaulding. She graduated from Bangor High School in 1963 where she met the love of her life Frank Gregory. Theresa grew up on her family’s farm and after marrying Frank they built a home on the corner of the acreage and started their own family. The two of them would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this fall. Theresa worked several years in banking and later switched careers to become a well-loved secretary of Bangor Public Schools. She treasured her time with her family, especially her five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She could always be heard cheering her grandkids on from the stands at all their sporting and band events. She was a member of Hope Reformed Church in South Haven and served in many capacities there for several decades.
Although now in Heaven, Theresa is much loved and will be greatly missed by her husband Frank, their two children: daughter, DeLynn (Bill) Williams and son, Brian (Rhonda) Gregory, five grandchildren: Drew Bushouse, Dustin (Morgan) Bushouse, Teagan (Ethan) Rogers, Brendan and Diana Gregory, and three great grandchildren: Adelynn Bushouse, Renleigh and Cannon Rogers, and her extended family of brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Theresa is preceded in death by her father and mother, Harry and Adella Spaulding, her brother Kenny Spaulding and sister-in-law Debbie Adams.
Visitation for Theresa will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Filbrandt Chapel Funeral Home 1076 S. Bailey Ave South Haven, Michigan. Visitation will continue Friday May 24, 2024 from 11 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 p.m. at Hope Church, 1365 Monroe Blvd. South Haven, Michigan 49090. Pastor Fritz Kruithof and Pastor Craig Massey will officiate. Theresa will be laid to rest at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hartford Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Corewell Health Hospice or Hope Reformed Church, South Haven Michigan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Filbrandt Chapel – Starks Family Funeral Homes and Cremation Services. 269-637-0333
