Virginia's Obituary
In loving memory of Virginia Sue Patnaude 6/5/1956-12/5/2023
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Sue Patnaude (Jasper), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend on December 5, 2023. She passed peacefully at her home in South Haven, MI. Born June, 5, 1956, shaped a life rich in love, simplicity, and joy. She grew up in Stevensville, MI surrounded by the love of her parents Lowell and Elsie Jasper, her brother (Duane) and three sisters (Nancy, Cindy, and Laura) and the beauty of nature on the family farm.
Virginia’s life was a tapestry of love and dedication. She shared forty beautiful years with husband, Kevin, and blessed with two daughters, Amy and April, and later fulfilled with two grand-children.
Her life was marked by simple pleasures - the beauty of a well-tended garden, the timeless elegance of black and white movies (especially mysteries), a hot cup of tea, or the search for the perfect slice of key-lime pie.
Virginia’s genuine soul touched everyone she met. Her love was as sincere as it was deep. She was a beacon of light in the lives of family and friends, teaching by example the virtues of kind-ness, patience, and unconditional love. She lived life fully and wholeheartedly. As we bid fare-well to Virginia, we carry her spirit in our hearts. We find comfort in knowing that her love will continue to guide us.
To honor Virginia’s life, a memorial service will be held in her garden at a later date, where we can say goodbye, celebrate, and honor her in a way she would love. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.heritage-chapel.com.
