Kathleen's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Kathleen here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
I only met Kathy a few times, but felt I knew her through my relationship with her wonderful daughter, Jay. I would hear about them so often through Jay's stories and reports after phone calls with her parents. Jay always looked forward to their visits in Cape Coral.
My deepest condolences to the Deegan Family. She left our world way too soon, but she left it a better place because of her kind heart and generous spirit.

I am so sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. When she'd pop in to LMCE to touch base about the Birthright Rummage, it was a reminder that summer and the rummage sale were right around the corner. To Mr. Deegan and the kids - your wife and mother was a joy. To the grandkids, especially Payton and Mackenzie - your grandmother was a woman of faith and action. Her model of truly productive and life-changing volunteerism is one to follow. Peace to you all - your Kathy has earned her crown in heaven.

We met about 30 years ago and you have been a second mom to our son. Thank you for the love and kindness you have shown to him, as your son-in-law, and to our family over the years. We have lit candles and said prayers and God has answered our prayers. He gave you a safe home with Him. Our prayer would have been for you to recover and be well, but God had another plan in mind. We celebrate your life and rejoice in your memory as you begin this next chapter the Lord has prepared for you. May God continue to bless your family.

Kathy worked tirelessly for Birthright Auxiliary. The Birthright Annual Rummage Sale was synonymous with Kathy Deegan. She was the person you could always count on to get things done. She hosted so many of our Birthright Auxiliary Meetings. They were always the most attended meetings, as you knew her food would be amazing! She became a treasured friend of mine very quickly. I will miss her so much, but feel fortunate to have had her in my life. God Bless all the Deegans. Kathy Drabik

Kathy hosted many of our Heart to Heart women's bible study, graciously opening her home to us. We are blessed for having her a wonderful part of our "Sisters in Christ". And, on a just a personal level...I really liked Kathy!

I knew Kathleen from when I worked in cosmetics at Walgreens in St.Joseph. I worked there 15 years and we got to know each other a bit. Beautiful woman. So sorry for your loss.
