My condolences to George's family. I worked with George at Special-Lite. Back in 2006 he was the first employee that trained me in the Monumental Dept. I will always remember how patient and kind he was to me. Even after I got hired to another Dept. I would always stop and talk to George about life, Nascar, work etc.... Rest In Peace George! Thank you for taking the time to be nice to the new guy.

George was not a man of many words! When he spoke up you listened. He was a witty, honest and loving man. If you had the privilege to know him you were very blessed. One of my favorite memories of George was the times he and his band played at Billy's. He had a love for music that put a smile on your face! He also had a very special relationship with his little sister Carla, he was the man in her life while growing up. George you were the reason I always wanted a big brother. Carla and George just got one another and he was a good big brother. I will miss your little smile that came prior to you speaking, your love for hats and your warm hugs! You will be missed but I know you will be entertainment the heavens above with your mom by your side!!! I love you and will miss you! Until we meet again go be life of the party!!!

This wonderful man became not just a friend to me but a dad a father when I was 10 years old when my parents split up. Not too many men will accept another man's children as his but this man and 1 other man my father Robert dale Westphal did. I'm very proud and Honored to say I had 2 awesome dads in my life. George if your looking down on me now give momma and daddy a kiss a hug for me please I love you 3 and miss you all, But it's your guys turn to live life have fun and not stress on how to pay all the bills and make sure we are ok, So go have fun and PARTY LIKE A ROCK STAR
