Hugo's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Hugo here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
We were neighbors to Heidi & Hugo for 20 years and they were special folks. Hugo would often share the bounty of his beautiful garden with us, and give us new kids pointers for our little garden. His yard and flowers were kept immaculate. We remember him with tall boots and a 10 gallon pail putting water on his plants. He always had time to stop and chat. May his garden in heaven continue to bring joy.

Regardless of when the time comes, the loss remains immense. It is always too soon and the absence will forever linger...

I am sorry that I cannot attend Hugo's funeral for medical reasons. I had the privilege of knowing Hugo and Adelheid for many years and serving them with God's Word "auf Deutsch" and then in English when German services end. Jesus was their comfort and strength. May He be yours as well. Gott sei mit euch! - Retired Pastor Schroer
