Dear Jim and family, Eileen and I were saddened to learn of Debbie's home going. We enjoyed her friendly and kind spirit and the opportunity to visit with you both over the years. She will be missed by many but we are comforted that she is now with her heavenly Father. May God give you peace and comfort during this time, and for strength in the season ahead. Harry

To the Agens and Fiskars families, what a privilege to know Debbie! She truly was beautiful inside and out. It was such a blessing to be able to attend her celebration of life service. It was a lovely tribute to Debbie and to our Lord and Savior. She will be deeply missed. May the Lord bring peace and comfort to all of you in the days ahead.

Debbie was more like my little sister, but she was actually my niece. We spent a lot of time together in the summertime when I would visit with them a week and sometimes more. Debbie was always happy and positive, she always listened to my “woes” as a teenager. She understood my insecurities and we would make up silly tunes and jingles to help us laugh about those insecurities. I can’t believe she is gone. She will be greatly missed. Debbie, I love you. Hug our Moms, Grandma’s, Grandpa’s, Aunts Uncles, and cousins……I can’t wait to walk those streets of Heaven with you and make up a brand new jingle!

Dear Jim & Family and Erik, Irene & Family - I was so shocked to hear today of your Debbie's passing. While I didn't know Debbie well at all, she was always a smiling, happy and very pleasant when she came into Building Constructors. I am so sorry for your loss. God has her in his care now. She left a beautiful legacy in your children and grandchildren. May she rest in peace.

Dear Jim and family,
We are praying for your whole family as you go through this time of loss of your wife, mother, and grandmother! Debbie was our little flower girl in 1967 fifty-four years ago at our wedding. She was so pretty, and still is! We praise the Lord that she went to Heaven when she left her earthly body, and that her family can join her someday and rejoice together. We have wonderful memories of her and your family at the farm events, and of her stories about the mission experiences with you, Jim. Especially, when in Africa. Thank you for making the beautiful memorial service available for us to see today! It was an honor to her Savior and to her family. We love you and will keep praying for you. So sorry for you, Jim, as I heard of Debbie's passing on to her eternal reward. Remembering many wonderful memories of Debbie starting when Erik and Ellie brought her home in East Lansing, other visits with family and working with her at Building Constructors. Always had a smile and encouraging word for those she met. May God give you and your family strength, encouragement, peace and joy as you remember beautiful memories of Debbie's influence in her family, community and the world for the Lord.

My heart is breaking with Jim and family. Debbie was so kind and love her family so much. She was such a beautiful, loving, fun Christian woman. Our oldest daughter, Kristen went to kindergarten with Ryan at Grace Christian. they both rode the bus. School got out early on Wednesdays so the kids could go to church. One Wednesday I received a phone call from Debbie. Debbie said, “Sandy, what day is it?” I replied “ Wednesday.” Debbie said” and what time is it?” I gasped, “ Oh No! I forgot to pick Kristen up!” Debbie laughed and said that she would drop her off at my jwwork two blocks away. When she dropped her off, I could not stop thanking Debbie, and apologizing to Kristen. Debby and I laughed. for the next month whenDebbie saw me Debbie would point at her wrist and I would turn red as we laughed. I look forward to spending eternity with her. Prayers and hugs, Sandy and Jeff Hub
