To the family, I would like to express my sorrow for my dear friend. Carolyn was such an amazing women. I got to know her well in her later years. She was someone I looked up to at church. Someone I knew I wanted in my heart. The more I got to know her. I could feel the passion and the love she had for God, her family and friends. I will miss her sweet hugs and most of all her loving heart.

I see Carolyn best in my mind's eye sitting in a pew at First Congregational Church with the children and Allen when the kids were young. What a competent and hard-working person she has been. I will miss her very much when I go to my hometown church.

I can remember being with Joan and Carolyn and the Clarke family ever since we were teenagers. I remember Allen's car keys being thrown into the pool at their wedding reception. She was an excellent teacher to my two girls. She was in charge of countless years of Sunday school and Christmas pageants at our church. She was so active in Beta Sigma Phi, AAUW, and the Congregational church, where she gave so much time and energy. I have spent the last year before covid, visiting her very week at River Ridge. I will miss those times of talking about so many memories. Rest in peace, my friend. Prayers to all of your family.

Mrs. Willobee was one of our best teachers at St. Basil Catholic School. She taught my last three children how to read. She always said each child will learn, at his or her own time. What a lovely woman she was.
