Our heartfelt sympathy to Patty, the girls and the whole family. Jon's passing left a big hole in our hearts. We were lucky to have him as a friend. We shared good times and were the beneficiaries of some of his great cooking. We'll miss him.

I met John in 2015 while he was employed at Application Engineering in South Haven. Jon played in the SH Euchre club pre pandemic. I hated playing against him. He’d make it and win with nothing in his hand. I believe he played Euchre like he lived and enjoyed his life. I’m very sorry to hear of his passing.

To Patty and the Girls, I was shocked when I heard Jon had passed away. It was my pleasure to employ Jon at Application Engineering. If I could have steered the company past the financial issues in 2016, I would have kept Jon employed for as long as he wanted. He had a quiet demeanor but was a phenomenal Machinist. He had a willingness to learn new things. He picked-up CAD and worked out the interface from CAD to CNC machining. Jon was just a couple of year’s young than myself and always seemed to be in good health and active in the community. I am so sorry for your loss.
