Boots through my eyes β Β Β Best neighbor, ever, one could wish for. Caring, concerned, compassionate and understanding. A loving wife who adored her husband and was proud to say so. Friend, confidante, partner in crime when my kids needed a talking to or whenever the perfect advice was needed all one had to do was stop by or give her a call and she would fix you up. Boots would brag of all her children, grand children and beyond as she loved her family unconditionally no matter what. Β Β She was another Grandma to me and great grandmother to my children from the very fist time we met when she and Bob first moved here. Her laughter would fill a neighbor hood and was quite contagious to those around. She would give Bob what for when he did something that she did not approve of but always seemed to end the day smiling as she looked at him. Β Β For many years we were more than friends or neighbors in our daily encounters and brought forth the wonderful opportunity to meet each one of her loving family as they would visit, always making my family feel a part of her own during those times as well as welcomed. Β Β There are those certain people that come into oneβs life that are just a notch or two above the average, maybe three of four notches, actually. Boots, you were indeed all of that and more to myself and family and I thankyou so much for just being you. Till we meet again, thank you and I love you. ~ Allan S. Ridley Sr. (Gary, Sherry and Greg and families) we all are sorry for your loss of such a great leader within your family. Please stop by if ever in the area as you are and will always be loved and welcomed.
