With heartfelt sympathy to Ernie's family. It was always a good time with him down through the years when we'd get together to go up north hunting, whether we had any luck killing any game or just being together we had fun and enjoyed ourselves. We were also in the Old Timers Club together and we can truly say there was no one like Ernie. He will forever be missed. He was a great friend who was more like a brother to us. He could always be counted on in whatever we were doing. God bless his family. We are here if you need us. Love your friends: Willie "Curly" Williams & Roger Henry

Ernie was an outstanding individual. It was a pleasure to know and work with him. He was one of those guys that would have given you the shirt of his back. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family

Treyton...Your dad was a lot of fun to sit and watch South Haven basketball games with, which I especially did the years I lived in town. He kept his own scoring and fouls stats, so I always knew where things stood. I moved away not quite three years ago, and have missed most games since then, and talking basketball with him. I'm so sorry for your family's loss. He was a good man.
