My condolences to all of Roy's family. I am one of his sister's life long friends, growing up just down the road. Roy being her big brother was like being my big brother.

Roy and I first met in Ohio at one of AEP's coal fired plants. I was transferred to the Cook Nuclear Plant, where soon after, Roy was transferred there also. Our friendship grew at work and at home with our families, helping each other on home projects. We were friends for over 40 years, with many ups and downs. He will surely be missed as one of my best friends. Just a few thoughts to be added; Mark III restaurant, Indy time trials,Jamboree-in-the Hills, trip to Arkkansas, and many home projects together. Old double "R" was always there when you asked.
