Samuel's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Samuel here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
We first met Sam as we moved into the area from Detroit when Sam became our kids bus driver. What a great man! Not only was he patient, kind, and caring…but funny. The kids loved him, and so did we. Nothing was more special as when he would drive for a band competition. He was so vested in the kids. He would stop by the house to chat, even after the kids graduated or were driving themselves. He would honk as he drove by or when he recognized us driving down the road. He was a pleasure to see in the community, and always remembered us and where he knew us from. Of course EVERYONE knew Sam! We loved his talents and were proud to say we knew Sam. RIP. You are greatly missed.

Sam is the best kind of neighbor to have. Kind, helpful, funny, and a good friend. I’ve been missing him since June. His passing has left a hole in our neighborhood that no one else can fill. Rest well, Sam. Beth, Sean, Aubrey, and Patricia, you and all of the family are in my heart and prayers.

So sorry to hear of Sam's passing. We worked together at Avion Coach in the 80's. He will be remembered.

I first met Sam when he was my granddaughter's bus driver. I then saw him regularly at Lemon Creek Winery. I always knew Sam was here when I heard guitar playing and singing. I will miss his smile and his music. Sing with the angels Sam. Keeping your family in our prayers during their time of loss.

I knew Sam and his family for many years. He was always friendly whenever I saw him. He was my son's scout leader for many years. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.

I knew Sam for over two decades and he was always an easy going person with a gentle personality. He helped my son progress in Boy Scouts giving prescient support. He was a giving man who looked beyond himself and that is a quality lacking in today's world. I'll miss not running into him around town. Rick Camacho
